Working with a brand designer is a major investment in transforming your business. Not surprisingly, it comes with a lot of questions from potential clients! Let’s break down some of the most commonly asked questions during the proposal process.
HJC project proposals are valid for 7 days. We take pride in working with a small handful of clients at a time so we can dedicate all of our creative energy to your project. If you’re ready to partner with us, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible so your project can be locked in to our calendar. We’re currently booking 2-3 months in advance, and we don’t want you to miss out on the opportunity to work with us!
Yes (sometimes!) If your blog is currently hosted in WordPress or Squarespace, your blog can be migrated into your new Showit website. If you’re using another platform currently, we can manually migrate your blog for you. Blog migration documentation and details from Showit can be found here.
Semi-Custom Showit websites begin with a carefully curated template from one of our trusted partners. From there we make customizations to ensure that your website brilliantly reflects your brand’s image. This process allows for a shorter project timeline and an end result that still has a custom, on-brand feel. Fully custom websites are designed and built from scratch, just for your brand. This option is great if you have a very specific vision for the layout and functionality of the website that cannot be achieved with a template.
Absolutely – even better! We currently book about 2-3 months in advance and it’s oftentimes a lower investment to book your project for later. That being said, if you need your project completed sooner rather than later, let’s still chat! We can usually make most timelines happen.
You definitely can! Some clients prefer to have their payment show up on their books during Quarter 4 of that calendar year for tax purposes.
Yes, of course! Most of our client projects are split into four payments with a 25% deposit required at booking and the rest billed on the first of each month. During our discovery call we will chat about the project investment and go over which payment plan makes the most sense for your business.
If you’ve ever considered working with a custom brand designer, I want to invite you to inquire on my website, just to have a conversation about whether we’d be a good fit. If you have any additional questions about what it’s like to work with Hello June, send us a DM on Instagram!
